Working at The SweetSide

You will be energetic and ready for this fast paced industry. Your role is to execute existing recipes and leverage your creativity, know-how and energy to strengthen the kitchen.

You will be the person who owns producing our cake, sweet bites (small desserts), cupcakes, cheesecakes, etc. Reporting directly to the Back of House Manager, you will be integral to kitchen production and ensuring that we meet or exceed client's expectations.

You will be responsible for:
- Sweet Bites Production (including French Macarons, bars, marshmallows, cheesecake shooters, meringues, etc, etc)
- Cake Production (this a large part of our business)
- Cheesecake Production
- Standard and Custom Cookie Production
- Packaging Client Favors
- Icing Cupcakes
- Create Fillings & Buttercreams
- Assist BOH Manager in any additional needs

To be successful you will need:
- A strong work ethic
- An ability to work and get along with many different types of personalities
- Ability to work quickly and cleanly
- An strong ability to organize lists and multitask
- Passion for beautiful dessert
- Looking for a long term position and willing to commit to a minimum of one year
- 2 years relevant experience
- Outgoing, personable and well spoken manner
- Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to adapt to new software and technology
- The ability to lift 50lbs
- Drivers license and comfortable driving on all Seattle area roads

Likely Schedule:
Sun-Thurs 6am-2pm. 30-40 hours per week. Hourly pay DOE.
