Sizing/Servings:

All our cakes are ~5 inches tall. It really depends how big you slice your slices but we say:

6” ~10-12 people

8” ~20-25 people

10” ~35-40 people

Allergies:

We do not offer gluten-free or vegan cakes at this time. Cakes do not have nuts unless specified (ie almond, peanut butter bc). However, our bakery produces products containing nuts. Cross contamination is a possibility. If you have specific questions, feel free to contact us. 

Types of designs:

We have a range of cakes in different price ranges depending on your needs. 

• Signature Cakes, our classic bakery-style cakes. 

  • You can add a message and choose your size. 

  • Anything else is not customizable 

• Pre-Designed Cakes, our decorated cakes are available to quickly order online.

  • You can choose your cake flavor, filling, size, message, and often color themes. 

  • As these are cakes that we do in production, we do not customize anything further than what is shown on the website. 

• Custom cakes, we’ll create something custom for you in nearly any theme!

  • Our minimum price is $325

Pricing 

• We have a minimum of $325 for all custom cake orders. Final costs will depend on the intricacy of detail and materials used to create the cake. 

• A 10% service charge is added to all our custom-designed cakes so our team can earn a more livable wage. This is included in the minimum. 

Ordering 

• Our schedules fill up quickly. We suggest ordering as early as possible! We suggest AT LEAST 2 weeks in advance (availability is not guaranteed). If you need a cake quicker, check out ordering online for predesigned cakes

• *** CAKES ARE BEST SERVED AT ROOM TEMPERATURE. PLEASE ALLOW A FEW HOURS TO LET YOUR CAKE COME TO TEMP AFTER PICKING IT UP! :)

Weddings (see below section on weddings) 

Pick-up 

Any of our cakes can be picked up at our kitchen in Seattle. All cakes will be boxed and ready to go at the agreed pick-up time.

Parking

• Totem Lake: Parking lot, street parking and garage parking all available. If picking up a cake, we recommend a spot in the lot in front of our shop, or on the street near Lululemon/Salt & Straw since cakes can get a little heavy! :)

• Seattle Kitchen: Street parking is available, including few spots in front of the shop. If the spaces directly in front of the shop are taken, look on the side streets!

Transporting 

Cakes travel best on a flat surface such as in the trunk or on the floor of the car. We do not recommend transporting on the seat of a car or in someone’s lap.

Delivery 

• We are currently offering delivery for custom cakes, wedding cakes and large sweet bar orders.

• Please note our cancellation policy. No refunds will be given for canceled orders, nor will payments be transferable. Your order is not officially placed until payment has been made in full (unless otherwise stated in a wedding contract)

• Every cake is custom. Variations in color, design, and detail are to be expected & refunds will not be issued for this type of discrepancy. We reserve the right to take artistic interpretation on all orders.

• Sales tax will not be added to custom cake and dessert orders,. Please know that if at any time the service is not up to your standard, then it is not up to us and ask to speak to a manager.

• In making a payment for your order, you signify that you agree to the above terms.
